During the course of 2014 the Gili IDC Indonesia will be developing its range of Career Development Internship Programs to include a range of options including career enhancement, reef restoration, video production, and technical diving and Liveaboard combinations.
Our Career enhancement Internship program includes the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), EFRI course, 10 Specialty Instructor courses and 25 certifications under the direct supervision of our senior PADI Instructors and your PADI Course Director. Of course once this is all completed you could also include the PADI Staff Instructor Course. This program is designed for IDC candidates who wish to improve their career potential making them highly employable worldwide and of course giving them the training and tools to be able to offer more PADI programs to their own students.
The PADI IDC Reef restoration program includes the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), the PADI EFRI course and the Biorock® Indonesia 2 week course. After this period candidates can choose whether to continue with volunteering on the Biorock® project, continue their PADI education or look for work as a PADI Instructor. Either way our PADI Course Director will help you with your chosen route. This program is designed for those with a keen interest in marine conservation. So if you have a passion for preserving and protecting the marine environment or just simply to look after your future workplace than this is it, for if the ocean is to become your office it’s a good idea to keep a tidy office.
The Gili Islands IDC Video Production Internship is an opportunity to gain a multiple skill set. This program includes the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), the PADI EFRI course and the videography internship; becoming a PADI Instructor whilst also learning video editing and production. You will be shadowing one of the most renowned videographers in the Gili Islands learning every aspect of video production from actually filming the projects to editing and screening the end result. This program is designed to provide candidates with a multiple skill set allowing them to not only teach PADI programs, but to film and produce videos as and when required. Once the internship is finished candidates can either look for works as PADI Instructors, videographers or both. Alternatively they may decide to complete the Career enhancement Program allowing them to open up a huge range of potential in terms of career prospects. This course is designed for those who wish to develop a wider range of skills and therefore opening up a huge array of career opportunities.
Our Technical Diving Program includes the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), EFR Instructor training, technical training in Advanced Nitrox and Decompression procedures and can even include a full and comprehensive introduction to rebreather diving. The program is designed to give Instructors that initial introduction to technical diving with a seasoned Technical Diving Instructor allowing them to gain their own technical certifications and get an idea of what it is like to actually be a technical diving instructor.
Of course none of these packages are exclusive and if you have a number of interests that you wish to pursue or turn into a career then please contact us and we can produce a tailor made professional training package just for you.
