We would like to welcome Chris Laura, Charlotte, Lucas, AJ and Lynn to their brand new careers as PADI Instructors. These 6 IDC candidates were also joined by Sulman from Gili Meno, Indonesia. Sulman is an experienced Divemaster at Blue Marlin Meno and is working toward his instructor qualification. Unfortunately PADI Professional materials are not yet available in his native Indonesian language, and this combined with his current full time Divemaster job and running his family resort means that he will be sitting the PADI exams on a future date.
All the candidates were from a variety of backgrounds with a variety of previous diving experiences
A.J is from India and has previously been working with Dive India. A.J has previously been working as a certified Divemaster and dive guide for Dive India and will be returning to work as a PADI Instructor for Dive India. A.J was already a fantastic Divemaster and will make a superb Instructor. We would like to wish A.J all the best in his future career as a professional PADI Instructor.
If you’re looking for a real career in teaching recreational diving this is one of the most professional IDC programs available, offering a range of career orientated options. To find out more about our PADI IDC Indonesia career options simply contact our PADI Course Director. New additions to our program this year include the IDC Gili Islands Project AWARE presentation which basically give instructors more information on the Project AWARE foundation, its aims and objectives allowing Instructors to go out into the field and become true ambassadors for the foundation. Another addition to the course is the PADI IDC Indonesia Revised Open Water Course Workshop. The Current IDC program focusses on the traditional Open Water Course as this is what is currently available in this part of the world, but the workshop prepares candidates to teach both the old and the new versions of the course making the transition as smooth as possible when it takes place.
