The PADI Instructor Exam has now finished and we have 6 new PADI Instructors ready to work here in the Gili Islands. Of course during our PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) students are prepared not only to gain extremely high scores in their PADI exam, but to make a valuable contribution to recreational dive training. Our 6 new PADI Instructors are from 6 different countries and will therefore be able to contribute highly to growing global demand for PADI training.
Julia is from the UK and took her divemaster program in Koh Lanta, Thailand. She decided to join the Gili IDC Indonesia because she not only wanted to visit the Gili Islands, but broaden her diving experience. After Julia has finished her EFRI course she will be freelancing on Gili Trawangan.
Josef is from Sweden and speaks English and Swedish. He originally took his divemaster with Gili Divers and has also been working as guide for them.
Dragos is from Romania and has been living in Indonesia for a long time. He speaks English, Romanian and Indonesian. He took his divemaster in Lombok Dive and decided to come over to the Gili Islands to take his IDC with us here. Dragos will be returning to Romania for a couple of weeks before returning to the Gili Islands to search for work. He is interested in working anywhere in Indonesia and has already been discussing potential opportunities in neighboring Moyo Island with our good friends at Moyo Dive. Rizwan is from India and is family have a successful dive operation in the Andaman Islands.
The future looks bright for all of our IDC Candidates and most of which are going straight into Instructor positions in and around the Gili Islands. If you’re looking to take you PADI IDC than check out IDC Indonesia on facebook or simpy contact our PADI Course Director for further Information.
